As teachers, the importance about knowledge of body language that one should have is immense. There are two main reasons for it.
- One, that the teachers deal with students throughout the day. And many a times, rather most, the teacher needs to gauge student reaction in class from their body language. Based on which he/she modifies his/her interaction with the students. It also helps create a congenial learning environment.
- Secondly, a teacher is always with her students. This means that his/her reactions are also keenly observed by his/her students. This behavior is at times emulated by the students in similar conditions and at other times reciprocated with the same intensity.
